There is a trade organization that represents the interest of the manufactured housing industry. It is Manufactured Housing Association of Maine.
Organized over 20 years ago, MHAM now represents over 200 manufactured housing related companies throughout the state and surrounding states. MHAM maintains a wide range of benefits, opportunities and services specifically designed for you.
Each day, the manufactured housing industry is faced with changes and issues that affect our businesses and customers. We need a strategy that will help us anticipate, plan and prepare for these changes in order to provide for the best interests of ourselves and our customers.
Manufactured Housing Association can provide you with the strategy to not only plan and anticipate change, but also help you prepare and effectively react to issues and turn them into opportunities for growth.
In addition to services MHAM offers, members visibility and recognition through affiliation with their association. Each member is included in the association's web page directory making it easy for members to do business with other MHAM members.

MHAM represents the interests of over 200 members who include manufacturers, retailer sales centers and brokers, community park owners and developers, financial institutions, insurance companies, transporters and installers, suppliers and other affiliated companies
As a member of MHAM, you have access to and involvement in the promulgation and enactment of legislative, regulatory and land use decisions at the federal and state levels. MHAM is affiliated with two national industry organizations including the Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI) and the National Modular Housing Council (NMHC) we work with them to provide member representation before Congress and federal agencies, including the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
